I remember 7 years ago when I first came to the U.S. from Japan, it only cost$5.50 for a movie ticket. Now, movie tickets can cost $10 in some cities! Well, if you like to go to the movies as much as I do but don't want to pay the exuberant prices, I have a deal for you. If you look at the right hand column of this blog, there is a button to buy Regal Cinemas movie tickets for only $7. This is the VIP ticket and can be used for any movie at Regal Cinemas and it also lists United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theatres. If you decide to see a movie that is a new release (it hasn't been more than 12 days since it was released), a $1.50 surcharge will be applied at the theater. Fees also apply for IMAX, 3D films, and Manhattan NY locations. This is a fantastic deal, especially if you have a family and movies can cost $40 without counting the snacks!! Regal also has a free rewards card you can sign up for and you get points everytime you use these tickets and/or buy snacks in their theater. I have decided to pull all the posts I wrote about Ebates.com. I've read posts from other bloggers about how Ebates gives cash back and is so wonderful but I have not had the same experience with them. I have gone through Ebates and made purchases at Drugstore.com 3 times and not once did Ebates credit me my cash back. I sent emails to customer service and the only reply I get is that my complaints do not meet the qualifications to be reviewed. I sent an email to Drugstore.com too but I haven't gotten a reply. If you have used Ebates and received cashback, then great. Maybe the issue is with Drugstore.com. I don't know. I just wanted to warn you all. Be careful too because people who refer you to Ebates get paid for it so make sure their intentions are correct. If you are a person who shops online a lot and would benefit from getting small percenatages of cashback, there are other companies that offer this and a lot of banks are offering online malls now where you earn cashback as well. I bank through Bank of America and I know they have it.

I went to my local Washington Square Mall and parked outside JC Penny. I went in to Sephora and asked for a sample of the Bare Escentual's Matte Foundation. The attendent found the color she thought would be best for me and got me my 10 day sample. It came with an adorable mini buki brush. Then I headed to the Coach store and gave them a print out of my coupon to receive a free gift from their new Poppy collection. They gave me a cute pencil box full of colorful pencils that say 'Coach Poppy' on them. Then I headed to See's Candies and got a sample of a delicious truffle. I ended my visit to the mall at TeaVana where a very nice girl led me around and had me sample several different teas and gave me an explanation of each one. Allure has lots of samples they are giving away from different companies. Most of the items are skin care, cosmetics, and hair care type items. You need to register your name and address on the site and you can pick 3 samples to receive. After you have requested your 3, you can go back and request 3 more and so on. There are several pages of samples so make sure you look at all of them. You have to be one of the first 150 people to ask for the sample. It looks like the first page of samples are all out. Now, here is why I think you might get a full size product sent to you, when you read the rules, it says you will receive the product pictured in 6-8 weeks and then it has the value of the product in parentheses. The value of the product is the price of a full size product. We will see I guess.
